The
Our Lady of Peace School Enrichment Arts Academy offers stimulating after-school activities right on the school campus. Far more than a baby-sitting service, the Academy engages students in meaningful programs, many of which allow the children to gain knowledge of a different culture each quarter from teachers and experts in their fields.
Classes are reasonably priced and run immediately after the regular school day. We offer Math and Science under the supervision of Walsh Education Division faculty and students, as well as enrichment for all age level of students and individual interests under the Direction of our Enrichment Coordinator, Ms. Maura Hanlon Each quarter classes will be offered in music, art, cooking, chess, reader’s theater, book club, computers, photography, creative movement. Students may also
participate in the Chess Club, Book Club or Science Club. Moreover, the students will, each quarter, learn about a different world culture, including Italy, Japan, Africa and Mexico.
Homework assistance is also offered each day for approximately a half-hour for all our students who participate in the enrichment program. Classes meet once a week and are structured age appropriately.
This unique Enrichment Program is yet another example of Our Lady of Peace School's dedication to Exceed the Expectations of our parents, while offering a safe and caring environment beyond the school hours.
