Enrichment Math
Sixth and Seventh Grades

 Mrs. Monica McGervey teaches Enrichment Math on the Junior High level. She teaches Algebra I to Eighth Grade, and works with smaller groups to enhance Sixth and Seventh Grade mathematical skills.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Walsh University and her Master's Degree from Purdue University. She has been teaching for 14 years, 10 at Our Lady of Peace.
Mrs. McGervey has been married for 20 years and has four children. |
Sixth and Seventh Grade students are separated into smaller groups for their enrichment math. During their small group time, students are given individual attention to fine-tune their mathematical skills, in preparation for Eighth Grade when they will begin Algebra I for high school credit.
Eighth Grade
Eighth Grade Enrichment Math Students are taught high-school level Algebra and receive high school credit for their work.
