Eighth Grade

 Mrs. Paula House has been teaching at Our Lady of Peace for 24 years. She taught Seventh Grade for 19 years, and is in her fifth year of teaching Eighth Grade. Mrs. House is a graduate of Our Lady of Peace, Central Catholic High School and Kent State University.
Mrs. House has two children and two grandchildren. She is an Our Lady of Peace Parishioner. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys reading, needlework and spending time with her grandchildren. |

Religion - The Apostle's Creed, The Ten Commandments, Confirmation Preparation, Weekly Gospel Studies
English - Discovering and perfecting the writing process, Grammar studies, Reinforcement through Simple Solutions daily English and Grammar Practice, Autobiography
Reading - Exploring different literary genres and focusing on the literary elements of setting, plot, characterization and theme. Word Wisdom vocabulary study, Book reports
Health - Building Healthy Relationships, Decision Making, Making Safe and Drug-Free Decisions
Spelling - Twenty basic and five challenge words weekly
